| I really let this fall to the gutter, didn't I? I don't know if I'll keep up with it, but hey, I may as well post a bit now that I'm actually taking part in some of the LJ communities. (Much love to the Futanari community!)
What have I done since last I posted here? Well, a lot of the same new things, really. I'm continuing college sporadically, skipping a semester here and there to work, and picking up where I left off whenever that falls through. I also picked up City of Heroes/City of Villains a while back, and I've been having an absolute blast there. It's such a nice change of pace from the MMOs I was used to. Especially the level of character customization - I'll spend ages just perfecting a look. So far as college goes, it's still the basic stuff for now. I really can't decide what I want to go for just yet - considering something in game design, or maybe just PC-related. That might be odd for a girl, but yanno, I guess it shouldn't be too surprising, what with all the daily activities that now involve computers and some way, shape, or form and all.
I'm actually getting towards the end of a semester now. I'm going to work over the Summer if I can find something, and then pick up in the Fall to start on some kind of degree or certificate. I'm sure I can find something appealing by then!

| | Another all nighter. At least I felt rather well for most of it. The past few days have been kinda uggish, with the stomach bug half the family seems to have gotten - myself included. I really need to find work soon, just too tired to go out right now. Maybe after a little nap... On a brighter note, I FINALLY found the GKA people again. | | Well, I finally managed to sleep yesterday.. at 9 PM. Woke up at around 9 AM this morning, feeling pretty groggy after 12 hours of sleep. Then I got to feeling awful again.. bleh. I'm alright now for the most part, but still.. I guess I should make an appointment to see the doctor on Monday. I could go to the ER.. but I hate that place. First you wait an hour to be seen, and then you spend another two hours between waiting and having all sorts of tests done to you before you finally get a diagnosis and a prescription. I'm not sure if it's a tooth infection or allergies.. on one hand, it seemed like an infection at first, but that allergy medicine helped a ton. | Yanno, I could never understand the thinking behind a seeming majority of online game players - the one's who, when someone has a question, be it the fairly crude "omfg wher iz [instertplacehere]" to the more thought-out "Sorry to bother you, but would you mind telling me where [instertplacehere] is?", retort with anything from "n00b" to "Go away and stop bothering me. Find someone who looks more like a charity for your incessant questions.". (There's another type that bothers me, but I'll save that for another rant.)
Is it so hard to take a few seconds of your time to offer a hand to someone in need these days? Is that feeling of superiority so orgasmic for these people that they resort to throwing all forms of polite behavior right out the window? Nobody is obligated to answer something when asked of them, but there's no need to be so rude about it. It's baffling. If anything else, it's making these people look more degenerate than they see the person who needs help.
